Twist and Shout: A Playlist

When I was a little girl, my dad used to be the dishes king. My mom would make dinner and my dad would wash up (that was, until I was 13 and the “honor” was passed on to me). Sometimes, before I fully understood the irksomeness of daily chores, I would help. My dad would put on a Beatles album, we would wash the dishes together and usually the whole thing would end with him chasing me around the kitchen with the salad tongs.

This is a playlist of my dish washing, dinner making music. The kind that makes you feel good, like you want to do the twist all night long, even if it means taking the occasional break to wash a dish or two.

**I personally listen to the version from the Charlies Angles soundtrack, where Tom Green sings at the beginning
