Have 6 minutes to spare? How about a pretty great short Irish film to start off your Wednesday morning?
I have a pretty deep respect for the UK Film Council and the Irish Film Board. Not everything they put out is amazing (like An Education or The Kings Speech), but it’s all at the very least interesting. The Edge of Love, about the life and women of Welsh poet Dylan Thomas, was unfortunately long and unruly, but has completely stuck with me. I watched it three years ago and still think about it from time to time! I mean, I think I would just recommend it as something interesting and thought provoking.
