Dina Goldstein’s Fallen Princesses Project is dually bleak and incredible. As a lover of all things Disney, it makes my heart hurt to see my childhood heroes like this.  I can’t even really look at the one of Belle.  Goldstein’s artist statement is incredibly interesting though, and I most certainly applaud her and the message that she is trying to project. If I’ve learned anything from being the girlfriend of a art student, it’s that the best art sometimes makes you really uncomfortable… however, this is also true of the worst art.

Though right now, lets go back to happy times okay?

Ahh, that’s better. Who’s your favorite Princess (Disney or otherwise)?
