Tired, Unmotivated and General Sense of Blah
The whether is really really crappy today: biting cold, howling wind and the constant threat of rain. UGH.
It would be more than wonderful to curl up with some Gilmore Girls and some peppermint ho-cho, but alas Bleak House beckons (although I really do enjoy reading Bleak House. Dickens is a totally misunderstood author).
I’m really really excited for my two and half week Christmas break in California. I’m already dreaming about San Fransisco and the various holiday parties I’ll be attending. If I haven’t already shorn my luscious locks, I might have to try this side chingon (even if it is from Martha Stewart.com). It is oh-so-glamorous and sophisticated.

I only have 3 (!!) more days in California before spending 4 months in Canada, so today I’m lounging around, being girly with my best friend. She leaves for her first year of college in a couple of weeks too – I am SO excited for her!

Wooded Wedding
I adore this wedding featured on Once Wed last week. There is something so magical about the idea of getting married in the woods — at least for me, the girl who greatly anticipates her yearly camping trip in the redwoods and loves all things natural. Weddings in the woods are organic and down to earth (literally and figurativly). The simplicity of this one is particularly beautiful. Double bonus that this was a wedding on a wooded beach. Super double bonus at how beautiful the brides dress is. I wouldn’t get married in anything else but cotton for a location like this, its just too perfect.
